Midnight Murder, Daylight Mess

The mysterious case of the murder of Lizzo Astley has gradually and dramatically unraveled to everyone in the court. From the opening speeches to the questions for the witnesses, numerous facts and opinions of the lawyers have come out.

As the court began, the defense was quite amused by the shortness of the opening claims of the prosecution lawyers which merely stated that they "found the suspects guilty and an innocent woman was murdered". As the court progressed, Linda Jackson, the Mayor's wife, was brought to stand to unveil her perspective and thoughts about what had occurred. When questioned about her multiple long calls with Boris Kablashnikov, a handyman, she stated that they were solely to convince him to decrease his rates for the job. However, the series of calls did stop two days before the murder, which was something that the lawyers found quite odd as they possibly could not have been just for lowering the rates.

When questioned about her thoughts, about the affair between Lizzo Astley and her husband Samuel L. Jackson she stated that she was "not angered but saddened" by the whole situation. She even affirmed that she did not confront her husband about it and during the party, she left with him, but there is still a possibility that she eliminated from the lists of the suspects.

During the questioning, the defense found many of the prosecution team's questions irrelevant and objected to many of them. Later, this was addressed by a defense lawyer, and he believed that they did have issues with the questions, due to a "bit weird framing".

Currently, the public is enraged by the claims made by the defense, and the situation is becoming more pressing. The questions that remain for the jury are when they will a culprit and if it will be the right person?
