The 'Informal session' time aims to allow lawyers and jurors to quickly and easily gather as a group, exchange ideas, and create consensus more effectively. Not only are some lawyers and jurors texting at the back of the courtroom but are also chit-chatting and just generally not taking matters seriously. Since time is of the essence, why are lawyers wasting it? How is the public supposed to trust these laidback lawyers to provide them justice?
